The ALVA battery AW6-7 lead-acid battery is manufactured using the new generation AGM technology.
A battery manufactured using AGM technology has a number of advantages over conventional batteries, obtained due to this technology. In particular, resistance to vibration, no need for maintenance, installation in almost any position (installation upside down is not recommended for safety reasons due to the upper location of the valves). Some manufacturers claim increased performance of such batteries or high starting current.
Maintenance-free design.
Significantly less self-discharge compared to modern lead-acid batteries.
Up to 2.5 times faster charge speed compared to modern lead-acid batteries.
The ability to accept a charge well, compared to other types of lead-acid batteries, reduces the negative effect of constant incomplete charging by the battery generator in urban conditions of car operation, which leads to premature failure of the battery.
Are they not sensitive to short-term « deep» discharge, in contrast to calcium (Ca / Ca) lead-acid batteries.
The design is sealed and has valve regulation, prevents acid leakage and terminal corrosion.
Safer operation: with proper battery charging, the possibility of gas release is excluded and the danger of explosion.
The sealed design allows you to install the battery in almost any position (upside down is not recommended).
Reliable operation at low temperatures, depending on the technology, down to -30 ° C (below, crystallization of the electrolyte of a discharged battery is possible and, as a result, a reduction in service life due to damage to the active surface).
