The Altek ABT-12Ah/6V AGM battery is a type of lead-acid battery in which the body compartments are filled with a porous fiberglass mat impregnated with electrolyte. AGM technology has a number of advantages over a classic battery. Sealed design prevents acid leakage and terminal corrosion, maintenance free. These batteries are successfully used in autonomous solar power plants and other systems where uninterrupted power supply of electrical receivers is required.
