System principle:
The refrigerant is compressed into high temperature, high pressure vapor as it passes through the compressor.
On the outlet side of the compressor, the now hot and high pressure vapor is cooled by heat exchange with the water in the tank until it condenses into a high temperature medium temperature liquid.
The pressure of the liquid refrigerant then drops as it passes through the expansion valve.
Finally, the refrigerant absorbs heat from the surrounding air and vaporizes into low temperature, low pressure vapor before entering the compressor again.
Cooled ambient air can be supplied to rooms where fresh cooled air is required.
